" On the morning of March 17, at the press conference held by the Israeli Embassy in China, Israeli anti-terrorism expert Boaz? Dr. Gaynor told the reporter of the News of the World.


  Threatening Beijing citizens on the eve of the Olympic Games should always be vigilant.


  Dr. Gaynor said that the purpose of his current visit to China is to "introduce the nature of terrorist attacks and the extent they have reached to people who are engaged in the same work as me here, and contribute everything I know to their work".


  For the world-famous Beijing Olympic Games, Gagno also put forward his own suggestions on its security and anti-terrorism work. He stressed that we can’t wait to be attacked, and we must take positive actions to defeat the terrorist attack plot. "In China, there are many potential targets that may be attacked, so it is important to get information as soon as possible in security work."


  He immediately introduced his own experience without reservation: in the weeks before the Olympic Games, terrorists usually rent houses and plan attacks in the houses, so homeowners and restaurants should be vigilant at this time.


  Gaynor stressed to the News of the World that the government needs the cooperation of the people in the fight against terrorism. For example, in 1995, the Tokyo subway in Japan was attacked by sarin gas. Many people were injured not because of sarin gas, but because of panic. Therefore, "it is very important to let people know what to do in the event of a terrorist attack."


  "From the appearance, there is nothing special about terrorists. They may have blue eyes and black hair. They may come from Africa or the Middle East."   Dr. Gaynor’s experience is not something you can easily get. In fact, not only in Israel, but also in the whole international counter-terrorism field, Boaz?   Gaynor began his research on terrorism 25 years ago. When he was young, he worked as a pilot in the Israel Defense Forces. Later, he found that he was not suitable for this role, so he transferred to the Israeli intelligence service to engage in anti-terrorism work. Since then, fascinated by counter-terrorism, he has never left this field. In fact, anti-terrorism is not as simple as people think, but involves many disciplines, including psychology, sociology, high technology, medicine, law and so on.


  "We are now in a transitional stage, that is, from modern terrorism to post-modern terrorism." Gaynor told the News of the World that no one in the world is absolutely safe from the threat of terrorism. The Olympic Games have provided many "opportunities" for terrorists, not just stadiums and other facilities. "Of course, I can’t assert that the Beijing Olympic Games will not be attacked by terrorists, but it is a fact that terrorists really want to attack."


  Gagno believes that the terrorist threats faced by the Beijing Olympic Games and the last Athens Olympic Games are very similar, and they are all terrorist groups or organizations that are "interested" in the Olympic Games. However, there are also differences between them. Moreover, terrorists have learned from previous failed actions and may be more cunning and fierce when they strike again.


  China police sent personnel to study counter-terrorism


  Gaeno emphasized the importance of close international cooperation in anti-terrorism activities. He said that in previous Olympic Games, Israel’s intelligence agencies were invited by the host country to help the country fight terrorism together. I believe that intelligence personnel will also provide help in this Beijing Olympic Games.
